Forest School Shelter
This project focuses on addressing the need of a shelter for the Nurseries current forest school. Our concept stems from the idea of tall canopy trees in the forest which reflect and cast shadows of leaves and sunlight to the lower parts of the forest. We have created a shell structure which mimics the large canopy trees found in forests and with the use of green and yellow polycarbonate sheets, we achieved a green shaded ambience similar to that of a forest. For Furniture, we have decided to use log material which can be found in forests to create seats, tables and storage suitable for the use of the young students whilst playing and learning.
